Cette œuvre parle de la violence en général, celle que chacun a au fond de lui, celle à laquelle l’artiste a pu faire face dans son passé, caractérisée par la batte et les clous en son centre.

Il y dépeint le sentiment destructeur de la vengeance par la violence, et le cercle vicieux qu’elle engendre. Ici, Sébastien Dominici veut justement montrer qu’il souhaite s’en détacher, avec la phrase “I sell my hate, don’t want it anymore”. Il l’extériorise pour s’en détacher et sortir de la spirale infernale.

This work speaks of violence in general, the one that everyone has deep inside, the one that the artist may have faced in his past, characterised by the bat and the nails in its centre.

He depicts the destructive feeling of revenge through violence, and the vicious circle it engenders. Here, Sébastien Dominici wants to show that he wants to break away from it, with the phrase "I sell my hate, don't want it anymore". He externalizes it to detach himself from it and get out of the infernal spiral.
