Les œuvres présentées font partie de l'exposition intitulée "California Dream" et ont été créées par Sebastien Dominici. Elles représentent sa vision de la Californie, telle qu'il l'a vécue lors de ses voyages. L'artiste a choisi cette destination en particulier pour son attrait pour le surf et le skateboard. Il n'a pas exploré les lieux touristiques conventionnels, ce qui lui permet de nous offrir une vision authentique basée sur sa propre expérience des États-Unis.

Toutes les œuvres ont été conçues comme des clins d'œil, des clichés ou des hommages à cette culture américaine qui a profondément influencé Sébastien. C'est un hommage au skateboard, un objet simple qui a suscité tant de rêveries chez l'artiste ainsi que chez d'autres personnes. Cet objet a engendré un mode de vie, un état d'esprit, une culture. À partir d'une simple planche à roulettes, tant de choses ont découlé, aidant de nombreux jeunes à se canaliser. La culture du skateboard a conduit l'artiste vers l'art, la musique... Avant même le surf, c'est le skateboard qui a marqué l'artiste, c'est pourquoi il fait référence à cet objet créé en Californie et qui fait partie intégrante de sa vie.

The works on display are part of the exhibition entitled "California Dream" and were created by Sebastien Dominici. They represent his vision of California, as he has experienced it during his travels. The artist chose this destination in particular for its attraction to surfing and skateboarding. He hasn't explored the conventional tourist spots, which allows him to offer us an authentic vision based on his own experience of the United States.

All the works have been conceived as winks, clichés or tributes to the American culture that has profoundly influenced Sébastien. It's a tribute to the skateboard, a simple object that has inspired so many dreams in the artist and others. It has given rise to a way of life, a state of mind, a culture. From a simple skateboard, so many things have flowed, helping many young people to channel themselves. Skateboard culture has led the artist into art, music... Even before surfing, it was the skateboard that left its mark on the artist, which is why he refers to this object, created in California, as an integral part of his life.
