Nathalie Miquel, née à Paris en 1959, partage sa vie entre Paris, l’Aubrac et Barcelone. Formée aux arts décoratifs, elle développe très tôt une recherche autour du nu et de l’expression du corps humain. L’Aubrac, terre de ses origines, est son lieu de création privilégié et une source essentielle d’inspiration.
Depuis 2004, elle se consacre pleinement à son travail artistique. Sculpture et dessin se répondent dans une quête de simplicité, où le geste, le mouvement et la courbe suggèrent l’essentiel et invitent au regard.
Nathalie Miquel, born in Paris in 1959, divides her time between Paris, Aubrac, and Barcelona.Trained in decorative arts, she developed an interest in the nude and the expression of the human body at an early age. Aubrac, the land of her origins, is her favorite place to create and an essential source of inspiration.
Since 2004, she has devoted herself entirely to her artistic work. Sculpture and drawing complement each other in a quest for simplicity, where gesture, movement, and curve suggest the essential and invite the viewer to look.
