Marco Stefanucci vit et travaille à Rome, où il est né en 1970, il est diplômé en graphisme et en histoire de l’art (Université La Sapienza) et a d’abord exercé comme graphiste dans l’édition et la télévision, avant de se consacrer à l’étude des techniques picturales et aux recherches historiographiques. 

Son parcours s’est également nourri d’une pratique intense de la photographie artistique, notamment en chambre noire, où l’usage des acides et des colorants a influencé son approche picturale.

Dans ses œuvres, l'artiste convoque sans cesse le passé : des corps expressifs évoluent dans des architectures antiques et des atmosphères oniriques, évoquant la mythologie classique. 

À travers ces scènes, il explore le rapport entre l’humain et le divin, inscrivant ses récits dans un dialogue entre mémoire et actualité. Ruines végétalisées et motifs mythologiques se rencontrent ainsi dans une fresque visuelle poétique, où passé et présent se fondent avec force et subtilité.

Marco Stefanucci lives and works in Rome, where he was born in 1970. He holds degrees in graphic design and art history from La Sapienza University, and initially worked as a graphic designer in publishing and television, before devoting himself to the study of painting techniques and historiographical research. 

His career has also been nourished by an intense practice of artistic photography, particularly in the darkroom, where the use of acids and dyes has influenced his pictorial approach.

In his work, the artist constantly evokes the past: expressive bodies evolve in ancient architecture and dreamlike atmospheres, evoking classical mythology. 

Through these scenes, he explores the relationship between the human and the divine, inscribing his narratives in a dialogue between memory and actuality. Vegetated ruins and mythological motifs meet in a poetic visual fresco, where past and present merge with strength and subtlety.
