Cette toile reflète un questionnement de l'artiste sur la liberté en mettant en avant le squelette d’un oiseau : un pigeon, un oiseau à mi-chemin entre l’urbain et la nature. Ce pigeon est, pour lui, le symbole qui représente le mieux l’être humain face à sa liberté. Un oiseau qui vole vers sa liberté mais qui s’est tout de même rendu dépendant des villes pour vivre et se nourrir. 

Il était donc intéressant de mettre en parallèle la condition de vie actuelle de l’être humain dans cette ère de technologie et ces pigeons qui ont un pied dans la liberté et un pied dans la dépendance. Est-ce que notre mode de vie  actuelle nous rend plus ou moins libre ? C'est cette question qui a amené Sébastien Dominici a créer "Freedom Anatomy". 

 
This canvas reflects the artist's questioning of freedom by highlighting the skeleton of a bird: a pigeon, a bird halfway between urban and nature. This pigeon is, for him, the symbol that best represents human beings in the face of their freedom. A bird which flies towards its freedom but which has nevertheless made itself dependent on the cities for its livelihood and its food.

It was therefore interesting to compare the current living conditions of human beings in this age of technology and these pigeons who have one foot in freedom and one foot in dependence. Does our current lifestyle make us more or less free? It is this question that led Sébastien Dominici to create "Freedom Anatomy".
